Dr.Fixit PidiJoint 6690 is a hot poured joint sealant. It is composed of special type of natural rubber resin, asphalt, chemical additive and filler. Has excellent properties to prevent the passage of moisture down to the joint, high elastomeric, adheres firmly and will not lose bonding even under long term water immersed.
Dr.Fixit PidiJoint 6690 is for horizontal concrete joint. Melt Dr.Fixit PidiJoint 6690 into liquid until pour point is reach, where it will bond concrete surface most effectively.
Dr.Fixit PidiJoint 6690 has low pour point reducing melting is nontoxic contains no solvent.

Method of Application 1. Surface Preparation
The Joint must be clean, dry and free of dirt, dust or other loose materials.
Treat any holes or defects with suitable structural repair mortar and allow surface to dry prior to application.
2. Priming
Ensure good adhesion of sealant, application of Dr.Fixit Sealobond Primer is recommended.
3. Application
Melt Dr.Fixit PidiJoint 6690 with its plastic wrap (on need to unwrap plastic wrap) in oil-jacketed melted.
Monitor the temperature of oil not to be higher than 240 °C and sealant temperature not higher than 180 °C
Stir joint sealant continuously until is all melted.
Pour thoroughly melted homogenous Dr.Fixit PidiJoint 6690 into prepared saw off concrete joints within 2 to 3 hours.
Wait for 4 to 5 hours for sealant to dry prior to opening to traffic.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment's should be cleaned immediately with kerosene or mineral turpenrine
Shelf Life & Storage
Maximum 2 years in sealed container kept under shed area.
Health & Safety Precaution
Incase of fire use dry chemical or carbon dioxide or sand. Do not water.
if molten material comes onto contact with the skin, immerse the injured part under running cold water, and obtain medical advice immediately.
Avoid spilling water into hot melted joint sealant in joint as water can cause melted hot joint sealant to overflow on joint spreading melted hot joint sealant out.
