กาวซีเมนต์จระเข้ทอง มีส่วนผสมของปูนซีเมนต์ปอร์ตแลนด์, ทราย,ผงลาเท็กซ์ที่เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพของกาวซีเมนต์ให้ดีขึ้น และเคมีผสมเพิ่มชนิดพิเศษอื่นๆ ทำให้ผลิตภัณฑ์มีคุณสมบัติที่ให้การยึดเกาะสูง มีการยืดหยุ่นที่ดี ทนทานในทุกสภาพภูมิอากาศ ปูนกาวที่ใช้ปูทับกระเบื้องเดิม และปูกระเบื้องได้ทุกชนิด
การเตรียมพื้นผิว
- พื้นผิวใหม่ : พื้นผิวที่ต้องการปูจะต้องแข็ง เรียบ ได้ระดับ แห้งและสะอาด ปราศจากฝุ่น น้ำมัน น้ำยาบ่มคอนกรีต สี เศษปูน สิ่งแปลกปลอมอื่น ๆ และมีการดูดซึมน้ำปกติ หากพื้นผิวผนังปูนฉาบใหม่หรือปูนปรับระดับใหม่ ควรใช้เวลาบ่มตามมาตรฐาน 7 วันหรือ 168 ชั่วโมง ต่อความหนาม 1 ซม.
- พื้นผิวเดิม : ล้างทำความสะอาดพื้นผิวโดยใช้น้ำฉีด ขัดพื้นผิวให้สะอาด เพื่อขจัดคราบฝุ่น น้ำมัน น้ำยาบ่มคอนกรีต สี เศษปูน และสิ่งแปลกปลอมอื่น ๆ และกวาดน้ำที่ขังบนพื้นผิวให้หมดก่อนที่ใช้กาวซีเมนต์
- เทปูนกาวซีเมนต์ จระเข้ทอง (โมเสกแก้ว กระเบื้องแก้ว) ลงในน้ำใช้เครื่องผสมรอบต่ำประมาณ 150 รอบต่อนาที (150 rpm) ช่วยในการผสมให้เข้ากัน
- ทิ้งไว้เพื่อให้เคมีบ่มตัวประมาณ 10 นาที จึงกวนซ้ำอีกครั้งก่อนนำมาใช้งาน อย่าเติมน้ำหรือกาวซีเมนต์ลงไปเพิ่มหลังจากที่ทิ้งไว้จนเคมีบ่มตัวแล้ว
- กาวซีเมนต์ จระเข้ทอง 4 กิโลกรัม ต่อน้ำ 1.1 ลิตร หรือ ปูน 2.5 ส่วน ต่อ น้ำ 1 ส่วน (โดยปริมาตร)
- ใช้เกรียงหวีด้านเรียบปาดกาวซีเมนต์ลงบนพื้นหรือผนังที่ต้องการปูกระเบื้องให้ทั่ว และเพียงพอสำหรับกระเบื้องที่จะใช้ปูแต่ละครั้ง
- ใช้ด้านหวีปาดกาวซีเมนต์ให้เป็นร่อง โดยจับเกรียงหวีให้ได้มุมประมาณ 45 องศา และครูดให้เป็นรอยทางในทิศทางแนวเดียวกับด้านสั้นของกระเบื้อง (ใช้เกรียงหวีให้เหมาะกับขนาดกระเบื้อง)
- ใช้เกรียงหวีด้านเรียบปาดกาวซีเมนต์ไล้หลังกระเบื้อง เพื่อชดเชยความโก่ง หรือบิดตัวของกระเบื้องและให้มั่นใจว่าปูนกาวอยู่เต็มหลังกระเบื้อง ป้องกันการเกิดโพรงอากาศทำให้กระเบื้องที่ปูสามารถรับแรงกดอัดได้เต็มที่ ไม่แตก ล่อนในภายหลัง
- นำกระเบื้องปูบนกาวซีเมนต์ สไลด์แผ่นกระเบื้องไปทางขวางในทิศทางตั้งฉากกับแนวของเกรียงหวีที่ครูด เคาะกระเบื้องให้ติดแน่นกับกาวซีเมนต์เต็มทั่วทั้งแผ่น
- สามารถจัดกระเบื้องแต่ละแผ่นให้ตรงแนวตามต้องการภายในเวลาไม่เกิน 30 นาที ขึ้นอยู่กับอุณหภูมิขณะทำงาน และไม่ควรจัดหรือเคาะกระเบื้องอีกเมื่อเลยเวลาดังกล่าว เมื่อกดกระเบื้องลงบนกาวซีเมนต์ ควรแน่ใจว่าหลังกระเบื้องสัมผัสกับกาวซีเมนต์เต็มทั่วทั้งแผ่น ซึ่งความหนาของกาวซีเมนต์ควรจะอยู่ระหว่าง 6-20 มม.
- หลังจากปูกระเบื้องเสร็จแล้ว ควรบ่มทิ้งไว้ประมาณ 24 -48 ชั่วโมงขึ้นอยู่กับอุณหภูมิแล้วจึงยาแนวกระเบื้อง
- เพื่อให้ได้งานที่มีคุณภาพสูงสุด ควรเลือกกาวยาวแนวจระเข้ให้เหมาะสมกับใช้ตามลักษณะของร่องและลักษณะของสถานที่

surface preparation
